August 15, 2026The Rosenbaum Fire began August 13, 2026. The lightning-caused fire is located in the Service Creek area, around mile marker 75 of Highway 19, roughly 14 miles west of the community of Spray. The fire exhibited very active fire behavior with active runs and group torching, spreading quickly. The Oregon Department of Forestry’s (ODF) Complex Incident Management Team (CIMT) 3 assumed command of the fire at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026.
