August 17, 2026Two new fires, collectively identified as the Picture Rock Fire (#313), were reported early afternoon on Sunday, 08/16/2026, about 3 miles north of Summer Lake on the west side of Highway 31. The fire when reported was estimated at 50 to 65 acres. Currently the fire is estimated to be 1,625 acres in size, 90% lined, with 0% containment.Fire personnel are on scene with multiple engines, water tenders, dozers, and crews.
