The Wrights Spring Fire was reported on Aug. 5, 2026, in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, south of Sprague River Highway and east of Chiloquin, Ore., between FS 5817 and Rd 22 (Switchback Rd.) The fire is currently being managed cooperatively under a unified command structure between Northwest Complex Incident Management Team 8 and the Oregon State Fire Marshal Green Team.
