July 18, 2026Background:The Rowe Creek Complex is a cluster of lightning-caused wildfires with the majority of land impacted in Wheeler County, Oregon. These wildfires were ignited when a lightning storm passed over the Twickenham area on July 15 & 16, 2026. Central Oregon Type 3 Team took command of the Rowe Creek Complex at 6:00pm, on July 16. Northwest Complex Incident Management Team 2 (NW2) in Unified Command with Oregon State Fire Marshal Green Incident Management Team assumed command at 6:00am on July 18.
