Texas A&M Forest Service was requested to provide assistance in the form of additional firefighters, aircraft and heavy equipment at 5:00 pm. Texas A&M Forest Service is currently in unified command with local departments.FINAL UPDATE - August 30 - 3:07 pm - The fire is 100% contained. This is the last planned update for this fire.
