Texas A&M Forest Service was requested to provide assistance in the form of additional firefighters, and heavy equipment at 12:51 pm. Texas A&M Forest Service is currently in unified command with local departments.FINAL UPDATE - September 1 - 7:19 pm - The McKee Draw Fire is 100% contained. UPDATE - August 31 - 10:45 am - Multiple single engine air tankers were used to combat the fire on Sunday, August 30. Two burnout operations were also conducted .
