The Deer Creek Fire was reported on August 20, 2026. The fire is in mop up status in the Pleasant Valley Area, and is approximately 18 miles west of Marion, MT. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.Incident will transition to ICT4 on 8/31/2026 at 0700.Evacuations and ClosuresThere are currently no evacuation or closure orders in place. We ask the public to avoid the Pleasant Valley area to allow emergency responders clear access and to support both firefighter and public safety.
